Out and about with my neck scarf

"Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive -- it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we know all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?"

- Lucy Maud Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

I decided in November that it was time to pick up knitting again. My crochet projects were going well but I wanted to try my hand at knitting again. This time it just clicked... and I'm loving the rhythm of it. I finished this neck scarf earlier in December from the wool yarn my sister gave me for my birthday. It's just so perfectly warm and snug. I knitted a second one, in green, just this past week. I first saw the scarf here with a link to the original pattern.

It looks like Spring there! :D I'm jealous with it being...oh...I don't know...the ANTARCTIC here. :p LOL

The boys are beautiful and your written reference to Anne of Green Gables really took me back. I have this whole series. I loved it.

Your neck scarf is lovely. What a nice job you did. I admire anyone who knits, as I can do it, but don't enjoy it. Just beautiful.

I love it!! It looks so pretty. I have finished my practice one...egads what a mess...and I'm starting one for a gift in a beautiful yarn I bought after new year's. It is turning out sooo much better than the first one. *smile*

I can't wait to make one for me! I totally have the knitting bug.

I'm so glad you love knitting. I like all sorts of needle work, but knitting is my love. Whenever I want to do something that just makes me feel peaceful and cozy, I begin a knitting project.
The scarf is perfect!

I love the way Ian is taking care of Sawyer. It is great to see them doing things together. Sawyer really looks up to his brother.
