A break

My brain has been elsewhere lately. Between our vacation and my older brother's wedding, Ian and I were finally diagnosed with having gluten and dairy intolerances which means I'm having to figure out what exactly we can eat. Then just this last weekend, my younger brother ended up having surgery to repair an exposed compound fracture in one arm and a dislocated shoulder in the other after being beaten with metal baseball bats in the middle of the night. No one is sure who the guys are that did it but it seems more and more details are emerging every day. My brother is home now and doing better but the whole thing has me a bit rattled.

So I think I'm going to bow out of here for a short time. Just a small break until things are more settled.

Be back soon...

OMG, Andrea, I had no idea that happened to your brother! What's strange is I was just hanging out with Mark Williams the other night and we were talking about the night he was attacked with a baseball bat when coming home from the MAX to PBC one night. He was telling me what a nice girl you are and how fondly he remembers you. If you get a chance, he's on facebook, and I know he'd love to hear from you! I'm so sorry about your brother, and hope he's on the mend and there will be no long-lasting injuries. Love to you guys, Karli

Praying for peace for all of you. There are lots of gluten and dairy free products out there, you'll figure it out...it's overwhelming at first, but you'll get there!

Andrea...So, so sorry to hear about the tragedy your family has been hit with... I pray your brother will mend quickly and the persons involved in his attack will soon be found and prosecuted!!! It never makes any sense to me how one human being can inflict such pain and cruelty on another... You and your family will be in our prayers.... Love, Merredith
